About me
( Born. 1986 ) It's good that nostalgia is trending.
I live in this beautiful little-big-city of Zürich and have called it home for nearly nine years. I'm a mom to a wildly curious six year old boy with an obsession with Lego which I have now inherited. I am a wife to my husband — nine years and counting. Riding my bike through the city and along the lake. The smell of springtime. The Friday morning flower market at Bürkliplatz. Going back home to Cape Town to soak up the creativity and culture, and spending long overdue time with my closest humans.
I've always led people. Long before job titles, I was captain of my sports teams and class lead at university — learning early that leading isn't about being the loudest in the room, it's about making sure nobody takes the wrong turn. I'm the one who holds the map on the roadtrip.
Working across South Africa, Germany and Switzerland deepened that instinct. Every culture taught me something different about how people collaborate, communicate and create. That range shaped how I lead today — with empathy, with high standards, and with enough trust to let good people do great work.
Then the computer became the cheerleader. My colleagues, my team mates. And I never looked back.
